Question about scoring? How does it work?

I got a 640 in my last mock (V32 and Q45) I gave another mock today and got a 650 (V38 and Q42) I increased 6 points on verbal and went down 3 points on Quant. Thus went up 3 points overall, but still only went up 10 points on the overall score? How does that (…)
