Los números que aportan potencias de base 2, son los pares.
Veamos los pares que hay entre 1 y 20: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 y 20.
2 = 2^1= aporta 1 dos
4= 2^2 = aporta 2 dos
6= 2×3 = aporta 1 dos
8= 2^3 = aporta 3 dos
10 = 2×5= aporta 1 dos
12 = 4×3 = (2^2)x3= aporta 2 dos
14 = 2×7= aporta 1 dos
16 =2^4= aporta 4 dos
18=2×9= aporta 1 dos
20 = 4×5= (2^2)x5=aporta 2 dos
Sumando todos los aportes de dos:
1 + 2 + 1 + 3 + 1 + 2 + 1 + 4 + 1 + 2 = 18.
Luego el mayor valor de k, en el factor 2^k de 20!, es 18.

Cual es la mayor potencia de base 2, contenida en el número 20?

Es decir 2^4 , 2^3, 2^2 y 2^1 están contenidos separadamente en el número 20.
k= 20/16 + 20/8 + 20/4 + 20/2
k= 1 + 2 + 5 + 10
k = 18.
