Why do some GMAT test takers score the coveted 700 while the rest have to settle for less, sometimes a lot less?

Monday 20 September 2010, by hurtado claudio

On the whole most people approach their studies

to the GMAT in much the same way. They plan their

study time, they find resources which provide the

best prep material available and they spend as

much time as they can on their preparation. Why is

it then, that some ‘lucky’ ones use the same

study material, put in the same amount of effort

and still come out winners? What separates the

men from the boys? Why do some GMAT test takers

score the coveted 700 while the rest have to

settle for less, sometimes a lot less?

The unfortunate truth is that preparation alone,

while vital for passing your test, is probably not

enough to get you out of the junior leagues. It

takes something more. That something is attitude,

and everything that goes with it – confidence,

positive thinking, and determination.

Until now this missing quality could not be

gleaned from any of the books or preparation

guides available on the market. That is, till

the Ways of the GMAT Winners came along!

This book will not only introduce you to the

studying strategies used by GMAT winners but will

also show you how to develop those intangible

qualities which can mean the difference between a

mere pass mark and a mark in the 99 percentile.

You will also discover the study behaviour which

characterizes those who have attained their 700

in the GMAT test.

Also available at the winningprep.com website are

the Winners’ Guides to GMAT Maths and the

Winners’ Guides to GMAT Grammar and Sentence

Correction and Reading Comprehension.

Using these books, you will learn how to tackle

the toughest GMAT Math and Verbal problems, and,

in addition, you will learn how the GMAT works and

the right way to study for it – not just the

concepts you need to know, but how to apply them

in ways which will make you, too, a GMAT winner.

Wishing you the best of luck with your prep.
